Look, look: Ongina is doing an ongoing series of short videos for the HIV + Me project, talking about her experience and with other young poz people about their own. You can watch them here on Logo. (Bonus: these are not blocked outside of the US). They're definitely worth watching. She's a good interviewer and the interviews are surprisingly frank and very touching really.

Here's a picture of Ongina looking extra fabulous, just because.

Henry Rollins (amazing straight ally and guest judge this week) has a new piece in Vanity Fair: It's Time for Gays to Start Discriminating Against the Catholic Church.

I loved that these were the reactions to their being told that Henry would be there:

Here's a fun review of the latest episode, 'Rocker Chicks' (contains spoilers, obviously). And some spoilery clips from Jezebel (Henry liked being flipped off! ♥ Ru may have made him blush! Jessica Wild's sources of inspiration are the muppets and Jem & the Holograms! Could she be any more adorable?)

Bebe Zahara Benet writes a weekly column about the show, and interviews the eliminated contestants, for pridesource.com; her newest one can be read here.

Finally, for all the any(?) Tyra fans (no, seriously I have to admit sometimes she has pretty makeup) here's an excellent tutorial to replicate her gold cut-crease eye makeup.

Raven's reaction to Henry Rollin's being on teh show was one of my favorite moments. Between the singer from Berlin and Rollins I think Raven had died and gone to heaven.

Raven wasn't on my good list until this week when she showed concern and caring for anyone other than herself or Morgen. She hasn't fully redeemed herself, but I find her more appealing now.

Raven still has a big ol' case of Shannel Syndrome, though, especially in this week's Untucked. "Waaaahh, I did XYZ and didn't win, but Tatianna rolls out of bed and dresses like a hooker and waaaaahhh!" Then maybe you should stop worrying so much about Tatianna and step up your own game?

Honestly if Raven wanted to show up Tatianna, all she'd have to do is dress more fashionably, as style appears to be Tatianna's biggest weakness. Of course, Raven is also guilty of looking like a trashy ho a lot of the time too, so that's probably asking too much of her.

Poor choking Jujubee; I felt sorry for her. Though not as sorry as I felt for Sahara, whom I think didn't do all that badly. If only Lazy Entitled Self-Deluded Good-For-Nothing Tyra hadn't had immunity, Sahara might still be here. I can't help but think that was a big factor in not giving the winning queens immunity from here on out.

Yessssssssssssssssss. I really really wish Tyra had gone out the door. I feel like Tyra is just a little more upscale than Akashia last season. And they couldn't get rid of her fast enough to suit my tastes.

And I do agree with Shannel Syndrome. Raven needs to step it up and LISTEN as well as shut her mouth more.

I have tried to remind myself that this is EDITED for manipulation purposes.. but it does work. We like some and hate others for what the producers show us.

And I always laugh at the "BITCH I AM FROM CHICAGO" b'c I am from near there and you do not mess with us. We will make your lief a world of hurt. *giggle*

That's one thing I never really understood about Morgan, and to a greater extent Sonique. They would totally start shit, and then turn around one or two episodes later and rag on someone else for allegedly doing the same thing. Oh, and Tyra in this week's Untucked, when she called Sahara rude for how she spoke to Merle. Excuse me? Is that the pot calling the kettle a Nathan Explosion-voiced poor imitation of Beyonce?

And I was totally waiting for Mystique to turn the Last Ditch Split-Jump into an offensive maneuver and thunder on down on top of Morgan. That just needs to happen between two of the hating queens one day - a big ol' Split-Jump Fight.

I like the way you think. A Split-Jump fight would totally work.

Which reminds me of Jujubee's volunteering details about her blister from tucking which I don't quite get, but makes me feel like that move is just not safe for drag queens, maybe.

I think it has less to do with the split-jump - which most of this year's queens seem to be able to do without much difficulty or fuss - and more to do with the really tight gaff (http://www.transgendered.net/gaff.html) he says he wears. Maybe his doesn't fit all that well or is made of a more abrasive material.

That gif of Tatiana's reaction to the news that Henry was coming is priceless! I'd love an icon of it.

And I'm so delighted Jessica won. I felt for Pandora, because she did a fantastic job, but Jessica ♥♥♥!! I agree with you - she had me at Jem and the Holograms (I could totally see it too. Her wig was very Pizazz). Ooh, and that column from Henry is so fucking right. Screw those sons of bitches, honestly. (have you seen The Henry Rollins Show, btw? Great interviews, fantastic rants, amazing live music. You should check it out if you haven't! It's not on anymore but both seasons are on DVD. So awesome. *fangirls*)

In conclusion: Jessica! ♥ Henry! ♥ That is all.

She should have worn the pink/green one that she made and offered to Ru!

I totally agree! The Pizazz wig would have been much better. I still think she was the best overall though, so I'm glad she won. As for Henry - I thought he loved Pandora and Jessica both. And of course Terri was all over Raven (was it me or has her makeup really harsh this week? Maybe her wig was throwing unflattering shadows, but eek!). And haha, the happy Henry gif also needs to be iconised. You and I are handicapped by our lack of skills in this area!

(I think you're right about Jujubee btw. I guess we'll see soon!)

I'm increasingly intrigued by him and I'm definitely going to check out his show.

Dooooo! He's a fairly awkward and overly earnest interviewer, IMO, but he gets people to share their opinions on stuff. He's hugely respected in the music scene, hence him being able to get guys like Thom Yorke and Mike Patton and QotSA to perform on the show. And he's friends with some interesting people! Apparently he goes to a poker night once a week at William Shatner's house? So random. Okay, I'll stop going on about Henry and head out for my mani/pedi. Priorities!

Holyshit I am so glad JuJubee didn't get eliminated she has so much frigging potential! I really wanted Pandora to win, she has so much frigging spunk.

Tyra needs to gtfo she's is so annoying and entitled.
