Hey, I've been trying to find studio photos of the girls who have taken part in the Drag U show. So far, I only found Ogina, Nina, and Shannel. If anyone has more pictures (note: the grey background studios), please post them so I can add more to this post! :)

I've seen a few rumours suggesting that Ru recently got sick while filming season 3 and that they've had to put off production until he recovers -- Here, here and here (warning: the 2nd and 3rd links also contain spoilers for the supposed cast of season 3). Hopefully they're all lies! And if not, please send him healing vibes or whatever superstition works for you.

* RuPaul's Drag U Series Premiere Recap: To judge or not to judge such tragic figures?
* On RuPaul and a narrow view of womanhood ("...to purposefully take three women who are vulnerable and unsure of themselves and put them before a panel of judges to tell them what is wrong with their expression of womanhood is discomfiting and irresponsible.")
*"Rupaul's Drag U" Brings Back the Queens ("... doesn't this contradict what I thought was the central tenet of drag: that "beauty" doesn't have anything to do with gender — that it's about expressing to the world the person you feel inside?")
* Reyna talks about being on Drag U (@ feministsforchoice)

* Here's a pretty picture from the cover of Out Magazine in ( 1993 )
* And perhaps the sweetest of RuPaul's music videos. 'Back to my Roots' from the same year, all about Black hair: ( Flat Top Fade? Very Contemporary )
* A ridiculous but oddly funny review of Ru's new book -- The Future Shipwreck Book Club: Life Lessons from the Drag Mother of the World -- Part 1, Part 2, Part 3.
* For Ongina fans: When WOW runner Blake Jacobs gives "RuPaul's Drag Race" fave Ongina a ride to the red carpet for Logo's 2010 NewNowNext Awards, they talk boy troubles, red carpet fashion choices and Ongina's role on "RuPaul's Drag U." Video here.

[30] RuPaul's Drag Race gifs
Season 1
Hi *waves*
I run a gif community over at
gifgiving , and got a request for some RuPaul's Drag Race gifs, so I thought I would share them here too (actually
anansie_s recommended it). Right now I've just started with the first half of season one. Feel free to use them where ever/whenever. I don't need any kind of credit and you can edit them in any way.
Also, this post is very image heavy, so it may take some time to load.
Enjoy!

( And remember girls, don't fuck it up )

Every Friday the artist Alan Defibaugh posts a portrait of the most recent Queen to sashay away on his blog. Here are the latest ( three. ) And the rest can all be found here.
Also, Ongina's a guest on this week's Drag Ya Later. (Source)
"I hit up the amazing Ongina to appear as a very special guest. And I got her take on Season 2 of Drag Race and all the queens… (or most of them). And Lordy, Mystique and Tyra better watch out! (Just kidding… It’s love all around. Almost.)"

Look, look: Ongina is doing an ongoing series of short videos for the HIV + Me project, talking about her experience and with other young poz people about their own. You can watch them here on Logo. (Bonus: these are not blocked outside of the US). They're definitely worth watching. She's a good interviewer and the interviews are surprisingly frank and very touching really.
Here's a picture of Ongina looking extra fabulous, just ( because. )

Henry Rollins (amazing straight ally and guest judge this week) has a new piece in Vanity Fair: It's Time for Gays to Start Discriminating Against the Catholic Church. ( Raven and Tatianna know that he's hot )
Here's a fun review of the latest episode, 'Rocker Chicks' (contains spoilers, obviously). And some spoilery clips from Jezebel (Henry liked being flipped off! ♥ Ru may have made him blush! Jessica Wild's sources of inspiration are the muppets and Jem & the Holograms! Could she be any more adorable?)
Bebe Zahara Benet writes a weekly column about the show, and interviews the eliminated contestants, for pridesource.com; her newest one can be read here.
Finally, forall the any(?) Tyra fans (no, seriously I have to admit sometimes she has pretty makeup) here's an excellent tutorial to replicate her gold cut-crease eye makeup. ( It looks hard. )
