I thought this was really very solid, apart from the kimono repeats. Awkward!

I'm glad Derrick's Britney went well, even though it was no Chad Michael's Cher and Tatianna's Britney was funnier. Bob's win was fair, and I was happy to see how well Thorgy, Chi Chi and Kim Chi did! Good of Michelle to call her out on the showboating though - she could become really grating if her head gets too big, and I really don't want to dislike Bob! Bob's amazing!

It's sad that Betty went home just when she seemed to open up towards the other girls. It felt like the beginning of a potential journey. But then again, it's easy to get smooshy in an enclosed space. I think there was a lot of talent we didn't see though, whereas I'm not sure how much Naomi can grow in the space left on the show. Not enough to win it, I fear.

Can we talk about how brilliant Kimmy Jong Un was?! I loved the concept, yes it's a face we've seen Kim Chi do before but it was hilarious.

Chi Chi is clearly talented and charismatic and I hope she gets more chances to shine without letting her insecurities/baggage get the better of her. Derrick was a total ass in face of her sincere apology, though.

It's sad that Betty went home just when she seemed to open up towards the other girls. It felt like the beginning of a potential journey.

Maybe I have zero sympathy anymore, but I just didn't care at all when Betty said that no one accepted her. It felt so manufactured all of a sudden. I understand being bitchy as a defense mechanism and all, but also I kind of don't...like if you want people to work with you, you can't sit there and insult the ever living daylights out of them relentlessly. At a certain point, it's basically preemptive bullying.

I'm gutted about Betty. She was just starting to let that wall down and open up and now she's gone. From what we did see, she seemed so intelligent and smart. I would have loved to have seen more of that Betty.

THANK YOU. Derek's Britney was okay, but only just, which is particularly damning for a professional impersonator. Tatianna's Britney slayed! And Derek was no Tatianna.

I agree with you 100% on this, and, honestly, it's made me dislike her. I mean, no matter how she does on Drag Race, she's going back to a regular gig that probably consistently pays more than most of the other queens in the competition make. She could easily afford to be more magnanimous given the circumstances, especially to Chi Chi, who is working two jobs outside of drag just to scrape by.

Tati's Britney was amazing! I had hopes that Derrick's version was going to be goofy-funny (at the very least) or bizarre (at worst). It seems that Derrick was afraid of going OTT with Britney. She had a handful of funny lines, but nothing super memorable.

I don't know if you're watching Untucked (I do). One of the most interesting things was seeing a softer side to Acid B. She did eyerolled/made bitchy comments during Trixie's video, but she was very supportive of the rest of the queens.

That episode of Untucked made my heart ache, it explained so much about Betty's personality. I wish she'd had more time to calm down and show more of who she is beneath the prickly exterior.
