Don't know how I missed this bit of news, but All Stars will be back for a second season!

The first season was... rough, but hopefully they've learned from their mistakes.

Thoughts? Feelings? Who would you like to see come back?

Please no teams for the love of god.

I think Raven needs to win something. I'd love to see Jujubee too but no need for Rujubee.

I'd love to see Latrice. If there's anyone else who needs to win Latrice is right behind Raven.

Over on the Drag Race fan page on Reddit, people have been eagerly discussing this - speculating on when exactly AS2 will film, who will be on it, etc. They even have taken to analyzing gaps in various queens' touring schedules to try to guess when the filming will be. I think it's been pretty much confirmed that there will be another All Stars but no one seems to know the timeframe for sure. Some say this year, others say definitely not till after Season 7 airs.

I can't imagine that they'd do teams again, given how badly they flopped last time. If there's one thing that 95% of Drag Race fans can agree upon, it's that they hated the team format.

So many other questions. Will any queen who competed on All Stars 1 be allowed onto All Stars 2? (If so, will Raven be runner up three times then??) Will fans get to vote queens into AS2 like last time? What about queens who already won a crown - are they allowed in? Will it be a full season or another truncated half season?

I don't know, but anyone who knows me knows that I'm rooting for my girl Alaska!

Agreed. And I do have to give credit where credit is due - Mama Ru and the producers seem willing to make changes when something isn't working, so I'm optimistic they won't put us through that again.

And I'm not sure how official it is, but there are polls out there for All Stars Season 2 casting (http://www.dragofficial.com/rupauls-all-stars-drag-race-season-2.html). I'd love to see some queens get a second (or third, or fourth) chance, with Raven and Alaska at the top of that list.

My understanding about that poll is that despite the name, there's nothing official about Drag Official. I know the poll got a lot of fans' hopes up but as far as I know, it doesn't count for anything.

Though I'm still hoping we'll get All Stars 2 this year!

Doing 2 openings like they did with season 6 would be a smart move. It got a lot of queens on the show and it let people get to know them right from the start. I think Adore Delano really benefitted the most as a lot of people thought she was this season's Dita Ritz.

I'm cautiously excited, knowing that Ru & co have been open to feedback / making changes about the things which didn't work in the past. As long as they get rid of the team format and focus on the individual queens, I think it'll be a lot of fun, and I'm definitely hoping for a full season.

I'd love to see some of the queens from more recent cycles get in there with some of the queens from earlier cycles, and I'd like to see Raven, Latrice, and Pandora get another shot (even if they were already on AS1), because I'd like to see what they can do on their own.
