I'll definitely agree that Coco rocked the lipsynch and deserved to stay on that basis… but as far as the actual challenge went? Nuh uh. She could've done so much better and the way she delivered excuse after excuse about how she performed killed it for me. Monica could've tried a lot harder, too, but Coco's reliance on excuses made me want to tear my hair out. Also, her runway look was kind of off-putting in an, "oh my god, creepy" sort of way. #team monica.

And as far as her drama with Alyssa goes? #team both of you shut the hell up you are adults FFS.

I think they both should have gone. When you look at ventriloquist puppets, the puppets are ALWAYS the best part of the act. They get the best lines and the comebacks. They're the "star" of the act. Coco kept saying that there's no way for her to work that part and it made me want to tear my hair out.

Does it seem to anyone else that this Alyssa/Coco fight is completely acted by both parties? Because Coco pointed out Alyssa's value as a dancer to Serena ChaCha, and there were one or two other moments I remember thinking that "they've forgotten to act like enemies." Like, maybe there was some bad feeling at one time, but then both parties moved on, and maybe the producers asked them to play it up again? I don't know. It seems very fake to me.

Unless she steps it up in a way that I cannot foresee, I think Vivienne is likely to go home next week. (

I'm liking Jinkx more and more. I hope the bias against comedy queens that the show has displayed in the past won't keep her out of the Top 3.

Alaska always makes me smile, but I hope we're going to see more range from her in the coming episodes. I think she's likely for Top 3, but I'll be a little surprised if she wins.

I thought Honey's "Meet the Queen" video was one of the best, but she hasn't lived up to it so far (though I did feel bad for her doing all the work in her scene with Coco). Has she been keeping something in reserve to wow us? I'm not sure.

Someone elsewhere (maybe on TLo's site?) said that Monica reminded her of one of the queens in Paris is Burning, as she seems like someone who has had a hard life. I found that poignant, and I think I agree. I personally liked her runway look, and I hope things go well for her beyond her time on RuPaul's Drag Race.

I find Jade Jolie grating, and I hope she goes home soon. Personally, I don't think she's as fishy as she likes to think she is. She has a jawline that could slice tomatoes.

Lineysha didn't do so well in this challenge, but I still have hope for her. Every runway from her has been polished, in my opinion, and she did well in the lipsynch challenge, so we'll see. I still think she could be the first Puerto Rican queen to win ... we've seen polished-but-quiet make it before (Exhibit A: Bebe Zahara-Benet).

HAHA, thank you! I was so excited about the Pee-Wee mention on the show that I knew I had to use the icon for this post. I'm a long time fan. Actually... I even have a ring that I wear that says "I :heart: Pee-Wee" on it. :P

I adore Jinkx. There's something... refreshing about her. I'm hoping she makes it until the end.

I had the same thought! In the second ep, especially in Untucked, it really seemed like they were supportive of each other, then all of a sudden this ep they were enemies again. Plus, the "feud" seems so lopsided - Alyssa is obvs over it even though it seems like she had more reason to be upset, while Coco is moaning about her relationship and bombing the challenge.

Was anyone else sniffling after listening to Jinkx talk about her grandmother?!? Coco looked like she couldn't care less, but Jinkx's pride and emotion carried the scene.

Alaska was *adorable* in male drag, but I knew that couldn't end well.

I had such high hopes for Ivy when I first saw her; will she find a way to stand out? And stop forgetting the other queens' names? Sheesh.

Detox looked *amazing* on the runway. My boyfriend said that she confused the hell out of his sexuality!

I don't see what the big deal was about Alaska doing boy drag for a while. It worked for the challenge they were given. Calm your tits, Michelle.

That said, I wish that Alaska (channeling Pee Wee) and Detox (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YwnAdT9I_o) (channeling the Kids in the Hall - NSFW link) had both been a little more original, but they clearly know what they're doing. It'll be very interesting when this gets later in the season and they have to start going up against each other.

Anyway, still rooting for Ivy and Jinkx. I'm really warming up to Alaska, and I like Coco a little less than I did. I'd like her a LOT less if she didn't freaking turn it out for that lip synch, but I'm disappointed in her dumb feud with Alyssa and REALLY disappointed in how terrible she was in the main challenge.
