When 1st season was on I didn't have internet so I didn't know about the Under The Hood episodes. I went through and watched them and I was laughing and crying so much. There was so little cattiness and no alcohol consumption. They all tried to get along and made each other feel better. This is what I wish we would see more in the show and in Untucked. I actually stopped watching Untucked because it just became a cat fight and bitch fest. I know a lot of queens I talked to said that this seasons contestants are more real, but I just miss the camaraderie. I guess I'm just an old fashion girl. Anyway fro your viewing pleasure some fun from last season, Okay loca?

Nina Flowers and Bebe Benet were amazing. I don't get the same feeling from this round of queens.

agreed. this season I fell that they have talent, but they are lacking in manners.

I thought they were two, but I had several queens that I would have been happy that won 1st season. Shannel, Ongina, even Jade would have been OK with me. This year I am barely hanging onto Tatianna and Jujubee isn't looking good anymore unless she steps it up like Ru said.

I was a bit upset about the amount of ranting Raven did in front of the other girls. I felt like she was ranting so much that other's were just nodding b'c they were hoping that if they acknowledged her feelings she would stop. Instead it looks like they were agreeing to the rant. I've done that, I've nodded and smiled at someone just to get away from them.. and I wonder if that was what ended up happening when Raven jsut kept droning on.

I just saw a couple of these and you're right, the tone is entirely different. And I have to say that the Season 1 backstage vids show Shannel to actually be a lovely person who got along with most of the others. Too bad she didn't get the most favourable edit when she was on the show.

And aw, Nina's scalp in that screencap. It's a mohawk all my itself :D
