As an unknown bitchy TV recapper to one more renowned, I bow down to Mrs. Motherfucking Boxx.

They all walk the workroom looking like they just took dumps in their bloomers after eating their weight in roughage.

Especially the ones who didn't bother to cut or carve and just stuck square blocks in their rear ends. That was some Max Headroom realness out the back end.

True dat. I feel sorry for her - Madame LaQueer seems like such a sweetheart - but reality TV competitions are unkind to Lady Complainer.

Someone still needs to explain to me the horror of Lashauwn taking off her shoes at the beginning of LSFYL. Is it just a mark against her that she couldn't perform in heels, when for most queens it isn't a problem? Or that she took her shoes off and didn't bust out any Mortal Kombat dance moves to justify it?

It's very unprofessional and tacky. The heels are part of the illusion; they're part of the female persona that these men are trying to embody. So to take off your shoes to perform is to break up that image. It takes away from the illusion of "woman."

It’s like a tap dancer trying to tap dance without tap shoes. It’s doable, but it lessens the art form.

I tend to agree with keeper_of_stars - part of being a queen is the illusion, up to and including the heels. When you consider that even Madame LaQueer has managed to do heels on two runways with an ankle injury, and that LaShauwn did not do anything that required being shoeless (which could be an athletic, Sahara LSFYL, or a dramatic, Jujubee / Black Velvet LSFYL), there's just no reason to do it. To me, it made her look lazy / like she was giving up before she started.

I mean, think about Drag U, or the Drag Mother / Sister challenges on RPDR - the primary thing people complain about is the heels, and it's something they lose marks if they perform without.
