I am happy that Mariah is a professor.

I hope season 2 is better.. I watched every episode of season 1, but it was a chore.

I agree. There were parts of s1 that were boring as all get out. Hopefully they'll have done some tweaking and refining since then.

I'm dissapointed by some of the additions (Tyra, Mariah and Bebe). And I'm saddened by the loss of Nina. But I'm really happy to see that Raven, Pandora and some others are back.

As for who I'd like to see... Sonique. I think she'd be great since she's all about self love and self acceptance. Though I doubt she'd qualify since she's transitioning.

Sonique and Morgan were some of the best performers from Season 2, but they got eliminated so early. We know now that Sonique had stopped transitioning before filming Rupaul's Drag Race, but in Morgan's case, she didn't perform as well as the other queens during the challenges.

I loved Mariah's State Of Transdepence speech during Untucked, and I loved what she had to say when she was out of drag, so I'm happy to see her included. But, Tyra? Don't get me started.

Oh, I totally agree. (Though, to be honest, it took me a LONG time to warm to Morgan. Think: the reunion.) I know Sonique stopped transitioning for Drag Race. But as far as she's gone in the process, I highly doubt she'd consider putting it on hold any longer. Yeah, Morgan didn't show very well on the show. She was a hoot on Drag U though.

I... can't place the speech you're talking about. I had a hard time with a lot of the Untucked's this season. So I've probably buried it in the back of my mind. Tyra? Yeah, no worries. I have no desire to discuss her, lol.

It was definately edited, the winner of Drag Race has contractual obligations so they aren't able to be on DragU until after their reign is up.

Maybe I am the only one, but all of them looked pretty damn terrible in that commercial.


Given the concept of the show (hopefully it is still the same), I think BeBe and Manila are going to be great additions. BeBe has mentioned that the women of her homeland thanked her for giving them strength to be women. And Manila is just so darn personable. Morgan and Pardora were pretty awesome last go around with helping the women feel better about themselves.

You're not alone. I've always thought Drag U would have been better if it had been about transforming guys with zero drag experience into queens for a one night only mini-Drag Race. Like the "Jocks In Frocks" challenge this season. From a social standpoint, I'm glad this show helps women feel better about being themselves and getting a chance to be pretty when they otherwise not be. But as a TV show with drag queens, especially in comparison to Drag Race, it's a real stinker.

you know, that would be fun. just transforming normal people into drag queens for a day. gay, straight, guys, girls, whatever. and then have them compete. lol. this format is just kind of lame. it focuses too much on ~dealing with insecurity~ and too little on fabulous queen. lmao
