I almost completely agree with everything you said in both parts. I really do hope that the women who watched the second season learned what not to do and will make the third season better. ^-^

I also hope Season 3 turns out to be much more like Season 1 than Season 2 was - you know, ending up with a winner that average people could stand, and all that. But the cynic in me really wants to see what RuPaul and Santino would do with 14 glamorous runway queens. Perhaps that would finally push them over the Top Model lawsuit line.

living in the hood as I do (and having my S.O.teach 7&8th graders there) I can say your version of what should have happened in the hood Tyra v Ru is SO. SPOT. ON. I want someone to make that shit for me to watch and rewind again and again.

Oh and setting santino's hat on fire and dangling the extinguisher on a string? pure brilliance.

I know, right? Tyra Vs. Ru was sort of hood, but after I saw that scene I was like, "They could have been way more ghetto than that." Hell, *I* remember acting way more like a ghetto queen than that when I was in elementary school.
