Like you say comedy really is key with Snatch Game and Max does have a very dry sense of humour that seems lost on most people. I think he would have made quite a good Tallulah Bankhead. She isn`t as well known as Bette and Joan, but she was a raging lush that fucked anything with a pulse, so plenty of comedy potential to work with.
