I don't have much to add beyond what others have said except for one thing. Has Detox had a crappy life so far or what?? Creepy stalker boyfriend who dies and she somehow sees the dead body (did he crash into her house?), horrible car accident of his own and hospital stay where he's covered in bandages like a mummy, estrangement from 'phobic father, father now non-phobic but may be battling life-threatening illness, mother abandoning him (though then she comes back and everything's ok?), plus lots of plastic surgery and pornos.

Granted, none of the queens have had it easy but damn girl! No wonder she looks older than 27.

You're right. You almost don't notice it because Detox is usually so blase about things. She's a lot stronger than people give her credit for.

I don't know the whole story, but I assumed from the story that Detox's ex broke (back?) into her house and committed suicide there. And then when she came home, she found his body.

And that bit about her mom leaving was kind of hinky to me too. I'm assuming it's just that Detox doesn't want to air all her family's dirty laundry. But it sounded like her mom might have left her dad or vice-versa, and that was why they were apart? So much drama.
