No one-on-one interview with Mama Ru? No Tic-Tacs? I kind of missed that.

Tic-Tacs aren't Paleo. j/k, Paleo is bullshit. And Crossfit even more so.

More seriously, I appreciate the new format in retrospect because the heartfelt moments with the childhood pictures came as a surprise. If we'd done the tete-a-tete with Ru, we would have gotten the same material on the runway, but super telegraphed.

One thing I like about the one-on-ones with Ru and the queens is that the girls get to sit down and relax for a minute. They're not standing in heels for ages being critiqued, and I think there's a little less pressure (a little) with it just being Ru, rather than the entire panel of judges.

I do like the childhood picture moments, too, though.
